Following the death of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II, Werrington Sports Ground will be closed to all events for the period of mourning and will reopen following the funeral.

The Parish Council will be opening a Book of Condolence for Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II. The book will be available in the Johnston Room of the Village Hall on the following: Monday 12th September – 6pm to 8pm Friday 16th September – 9.15am to 11.15am Additional days may be
